Ithaca College Senior Class of 2010 website

When we first launched the Class of 2010 website in August, I was still getting the hang of Wordpress but didn't have time to really delve into theme development. I had chosen Wordpress for its easy to use admin interface because I was planning delegating content creation to other members of the Class Cabinet and didn't have a lot of time to train them on a CMS that might have been more intimidating for new users.

As a result, the first design of the website wasn't one that I was happy with but with no time to really spend on Wordpress, I reassured myself that I'd make time over winter break to do it right. After two weeks of digesting everything I could find related to template tags and Wordpress theme development I came up with the new design. Our logo is a little oddly shaped so I decided to make the header functional as well as attractive by adding contact info, our twitter feed, and a countdown to graduation (my favorite little feature)
